Introduction to the Meaning and Uses of Kambaba Jasper
Kambaba Jasper is a stone of Peace and Tranquility, imbued with the nourishing green energy of Nature. Its dark mystic circles and deep green swirls comforts and protects, calms and relaxes, soothing troubled minds and restoring balance to the body and spirit. Its slow steady frequency expands one’s ability to focus and is a remarkable aid in meditation, granting the release of negative thoughts and feelings, especially those that plague one’s consciousness on a continual basis. Stimulating the Heart Chakra, Kambaba Jasper draws wisdom from its ancient life energies and encourages one to open the heart to loving the self and others more fully, and increases the ability to receive love in return. [Eason, 321][Lembo, 188-189]
Kambaba Jasper is one of the more exotic Jaspers, a rare orbicular variety from Madagascar and South Africa. In its depths one can literally glimpse the origins of life on our planet and touch a tangible form of the primordial ooze that nurtured our atmosphere and advanced the creation of all living things. A sedimentary stone, Kambaba Jasper is comprised of microcrystalline Quartz interlaced with Stromatolites, ancient fossilized colonies created by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) and other primeval microorganisms. These Stromatolites date back more than three billion years and are the oldest known fossils, containing the earliest records of life on Earth. [Eason, 321][Lembo, 189][www.spiritrockshop.com]
Kambaba Jasper is often called Green Stromatolite Jasper, and is sometimes referred to as Crocodile Rock or Crocodile Jasper. There are several spelling variations of the name, including Kambamba, Kabamba, Kabamby, Bambamba, and Cumbamba. Because of color similarities, it is sometimes confused with Nebula Stone, though the two are very different in composition and places of origin.
Kambaba Jasper Uses and Purposes
Like all Jaspers, Kambaba Jasper alleviates stress and induces tranquility. Its cleansing effect eliminates negative energy and stabilizes the aura. It makes an ideal worry or rubbing stone for soothing the nerves and increasing one’s focus, and is a wonderful stone for banishing nightmares or harmful thoughts. Kambaba Jasper is particularly conducive to deep and peaceful sleep. [Melody, 345][Hall 154-155][Hall III, 112][Mella, 88-89][Eason, 321]
A stone of nurturing energies, Kambaba Jasper provides strength for those who are broken-hearted by love, rejection or sudden abandonment, to find their way out of emotional despair and in facing issues that must be resolved. [Eason, 321]
This stone may be used to increase money flow and prosperity in one’s life. Kept in the workplace it improves an already established career or business interest, and wards off any unnecessary or unwanted changes. It also protects against colleagues who would purposely destabilize your efforts. [Lembo, 189][Eason, 321]
Kambaba Jasper is highly protective on back-to-nature holidays and in ventures of deep-sea diving. At home, keep near all salt-water or tropical fish, exotic pets or those who need a lot of heat, such as lizards. [Eason, 321]
Jasper is believed to increase fertility and creativity, overcoming impotence, and is conducive to happy pregnancies. [Hall III, 112][Megemont, 102]

Kambaba Jasper Physical Healing Energy
Kambaba Jasper aids the body in areas of essential growth and renewal, boosting the immune system, cellular growth and DNA, and supports the digestive system and assimilation of vitamins and minerals. It is helpful in cleansing the body of toxins, and may be used to improve conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Kambaba is also thought to benefit the jaw and teeth, and assist in areas concerning wisdom teeth and in all dental work. [Eason, 321][Lembo, 189]
Jasper water is particularly useful as a gem elixir because it does not over stimulate the body. It is soothing for the digestive system, calms nausea and vomiting, and strengthens the stomach. It may be made by the indirect method, or by letting the stone soak in demineralized water overnight. [Hall, 155][Megemont, 102]
Kambaba Jasper Emotional Healing Energy
Kambaba Jasper is known for its ability to calm and soothe emotional upheaval. For those sensitive to its vibration, it creates a special aura, a pleasant sensation as it irradiates throughout the body. It invites feelings of compassion and patience, humility, and even generosity. Kambaba is particularly conducive to opening the heart, increasing the ability to love the self and others more deeply, and to be open to receiving love in return. [Lembo, 189][Megemont, 101]
The green energy of Kambaba Jasper is associated with the Heart Chakra, located near the center of the breastbone. It regulates our interaction with the external world and controls what we embrace and what we resist. It gives us the balancing ability to be ourselves within the environment. When the Heart Chakra is out of balance we may feel either controlling or controlled in a relationship, and become critical of the little foibles of others. We may find ourselves having inappropriately strong emotional responses to everyday external stimuli. Green crystal energy is used to resolve blockages and to re-balance the Heart Chakra, helping us understand our own needs and emotions clearly. We can deal with the ebbs and flows of emotional relationships, understand their cyclic nature, and accept the changes.
All Jaspers connect to the Earth and may be placed on the Base Chakra to stabilize and energize the physical body. Laying it over each chakra in turn, will cleanse, boost and realign the chakras and aura, balancing yin and yang energies as well as aligning the physical, emotional and mental bodies with the etheric realm. [Hall III, 113][Hall, 155][Melody, 344-345]

It is highly protective against psychic danger or negative entities, especially if one senses past evil practices in a building or area, or suddenly finds oneself in the wrong place. [Eason, 321]
